All graduate students presenting a paper at any of the AOCS Annual Meeting Processing Division sessions are eligible for the award. $1,000 is awarded for the winner of the processing division.
The purpose of this award is to encourage graduate students working with insects or other arthropods in the broad areas of physiology, biochemistry, and molecular biology to affiliate with ESA’s Integrative Physiological and Molecular Insect Systems Section and to attend the ESA Annual Meeting.
This award is given for outstanding graduate student research while enrolled in a counseling psychology program. The student must be nominated and the piece of research can be submitted up to one year after graduation. The nominee must be the principal author of the research.

ACM established the Doctoral Dissertation Award program to recognize and encourage superior research and writing by doctoral candidates in computer science and engineering. The award of $20,000 is presented to the author of the best doctoral dissertation, and the dissertation is published by ACM.
The Graduate Student Research Award is given to spur academic and clinical interest in the field of aging, and rewards the best unpublished graduate research paper on a completed project relevant to aging and applicable to practice.
This award covers attendance to Humanities Without Walls, a summer workshop on careers outside of the academy and/or the tenure track system. The award covers housing, and fellows will receive $5,000 to cover all remaining costs associated with the workshop.
Program directors are encouraged to nominate students who have made outstanding contributions to public service through research, teaching, program development, or clinical practice for a $500 award.
