The AAAS Early Career Award for Public Engagement with Science recognizes early-career scientists and engineers who demonstrate excellence in their contribution to public engagement with science activities.
This $10,000 award promotes the professional development of postdoctoral fellows in the field of mass spectrometry. Activities funded are conference and workshop attendance, travel to other labs, purchase books, and software.
This award covers attendance to Humanities Without Walls, a summer workshop on careers outside of the academy and/or the tenure track system. The award covers housing, and fellows will receive $5,000 to cover all remaining costs associated with the workshop.
