Dissertation Fellowships
The Ransom Center will award more than 50 fellowships for projects that require substantial on-site use of its collections. The fellowships support research in all areas of the humanities, including literature, photography, film, art, the performing arts, music, and cultural history.
Ruth L Kirschstein NRSA to Promote Diversity in Health-Related Research (F31)
This fellowship supports a diverse pool of highly trained scientists to perform dissertation research and training in scientific health-related fields which advance the mission of the participating NIH Institutes and Centers (ICs).
Schallek Fellowship
The Schallek Fellowship provides a one-year grant to support Ph.D. dissertation research in any relevant discipline dealing with late-medieval Britain (ca. 1350-1500). Applicants must be members of the Medieval Academy and be ABD at the time of application.
Doctoral Degree Scholarships in Cancer Nursing
Awarded to graduate students who are pursuing doctoral study in the field of cancer nursing research and preparing for careers as nurse scientists. Initial awards are made for up to 2 years with the possibility of a 2-year renewal. There is a stipend of $15,000 per year.

AABS invites applications for grants of up to $2,000 to support doctoral dissertation research and write-up in any field of Baltic Studies. Funds may be used for travel to research site, equipment, duplication or other needs as specified
Fellowships for Doctoral Dissertation Research in Chinese Studies
$6,000 scholarship awarded on the basis of achievement without regard to academic discipline, race, or nationality. Applicants must be doctoral candidates in humanities or the social sciences with an approved dissertation prospectus, enrolled in university study in the U.S. or Canada.
Doctoral Training Grants in Oncology Social Work
This grant is awarded to qualifying doctoral students at schools of social work that train individuals to conduct research relevant to oncology social work. The initial two-year grant provides a stipend of $20,000 per year with possibility of a two-year renewal.
Dissertation Support Program
A fellowship program that provides support while the graduate student conducts dissertation research. Students should apply in the year prior to the beginning of their dissertation research program, but not until they can describe their intended research in general terms.
Aging Research Dissertation Awards to Increase Diversity
