Welcome DFMP mentees! Unit Three of the summer mentoring program offers an exciting opportunity for students to navigate the fellowship application process within a virtual community. Each week, one group (A,B,C, or D) will submit a blog post in response to a topic that is related to grantsmanship. Another group (A, B, C, or D) will respond to blog posts in the comments section of the original group post. The topics include: Getting to Know Your Funder, Writing a Purpose Statement, Writing About Previous Research, and Writing a Personal Statement. The blogs provide a virtual space for you to learn from your fellow DFPM mentee’s while sharing your own insights into the fellowship application process!
