German Studies Research Grant

The program is designed to encourage research and promote the study of cultural, political, historical, economic and social aspects of modern and contemporary German affairs from an inter- and multidisciplinary perspective. The grant may be used for short-term research (1-2 months) in Germany.

Study Scholarship

Provides funds for study and/or research in Germany for 1 to 10 months. Open to graduate students pursuing their masters or doctorate for study and/or research prior to completing their degree. Recent Ph.D. recipients may apply to pursue post-doctoral research.

Humboldt Research Fellowship Program

The Humboldt Research Fellowship Program supports highly qualified post-doctoral scholars of all nationalities and disciplines so that they may carry out long-term research projects in Germany for a stay of six to 12 months.

RISE professional – Research Internships in Science & Engineering

This program offers summer research internships in Germany to masters and doctoral students from North America at companies and non-university research institutions with strong relations to industry. Students in biology, chemistry, engineering, geology and physics are invited to apply.

Research Grants

These research grants are awarded to PhD candidates, master’s degree holders, and post-doc researchers for research in Germany. Applicants may be from any field of study.
