PhD Research Grant

This PhD research grant provides travel and research funds (1,100 euros/month) for up to 6 months of dissertation research. Students must hold an M.A. in a related field, know basic German or Turkish, and research specific topics outlined by the funder. Manuscript based work is preferred.

NEF Scholarships

NEF Scholarships are for Master’s and Doctoral degree study in Nursing, to individuals who demonstrate academic and leadership potential to promote effective nursing and health care services through advanced practice and through the generation and dissemination of knowledge.

Graduate Attachment Scheme

BIEA graduate attachments offer recent graduates, with an interest in further studies in Africa, the opportunity to gain practical experience of research.

Field Research Fellowship

This fellowship supports shot-term field research by undergraduates, graduate students, post-doctoral scholars, and faculty researchers. Fellows conduct field research between May and October. The award is meant to defray transportation costs and provide a stipend in the field.

Library Research Grant

The Friends of the Princeton University Library offer short-term Library Research Grants to promote scholarly use of the research collections. These $4,000 grants are meant to help defray expenses incurred in traveling to and residing in Princeton during the tenure of the grant (up to a month).

Non-Academic Research Internships for Graduate Students (INTERN) Supplemental Funding Opportunity

NSF will consider supplemental funding requests that enable PIs to request up to six months of additional support to provide graduate students with the opportunity to augment their research assistantships with non-academic research internship activities and training opportunities.

Leo Fleischmann Visiting Fellowship in Pacific Islands Arts and Material Culture

The Leo Fleischmann Fellowship offers up to $2,500 for research on the art and material culture of the Pacific region. Preference will be given to self-contained projects that address the Museum’s interests and focus on their collections. Students are ineligible.

LGBT Studies Research Fellowship

The Yale LGBT Studies Research Fellowship is offered annually, and is designed to provide access to Yale resources in LGBT Studies for scholars who live outside the greater New Haven area. Granted for one month, the fellowship must be taken up between September and April.

Ruth Edelman/PRSSA Award for Achievement in Women’s Leadership Development

Open to all PRSSA members, the Ruth Edelman/PRSSA Award recognizes members who have demonstrated achievement in women’s leadership, women’s studies and/or contributions in the field to promote women’s issues.

Short-Term Fellowships at the Folger Shakespeare Library

The OI-FI fellowships will support scholars with strong interests in early America, broadly understood. Scholars of Atlantic history, colonial history, literary studies, performance history, and material culture are encouraged to apply.
