The Diana Jacobs Kalman/AFAR Scholarships for Research in the Biology of Aging aim to give students the chance to learn more about the field of aging research, as well as increase their understanding of the challenges involved in improving the quality of life for older people.
These fellowships foster the academic careers of scholars who have recently received their Ph.D. degrees by permitting them to pursue their research while gaining mentored experience as teachers and members of the departments and/or programs in which they are housed.
The TomKat Center Postdoctoral Fellowships support outstanding recent Ph.D. graduates working on projects that explore new research directions in sustainable energy and its intersection with food, water, the environment, or human health.
