Science Policy Fellowship

The Science Policy Fellowship hones scientists by putting them to practice for the benefit of Gulf Coast communities and ecosystems. Fellows gain first hand experience on the staff of federal, state, local, or non-governmental environmental and public health agencies in the Gulf of Mexico region.

Glenn Foundation for Medical Research Postdoctoral Fellowships in Aging Research

The program was developed to address the current concerns about an adequate funding base for postdoctoral fellows (MD, MD/PhD and PhD) who specifically direct their research towards translational findings and who will demonstrate how their research will have direct benefits to human aging.

NIH Blueprint Diversity Specialized Predoctoral to Postdoctoral Advancement in Neuroscience (D-SPAN) Award (F99/K00)

The purpose of the NIH D-SPAN Award is to support a defined pathway across career stages for outstanding graduate students who are from backgrounds that are nationally underrepresented in neuroscience research. The award supports the transition from predoctoral candidate to postdoctoral researcher.

Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Travel Award for Scientists from Low and Low-Middle Income Countries

Provides researchers in low-middle-income countries conference travel funding for the ASM Microbe annual meeting.

ASM Microbe Minority Travel Award

This travel award encourages increased participation of underrepresented minority (URM) groups in the ASM Microbe 2019. ASM will select faculty, post-doctoral scholars or graduate students from URM groups in the microbiological sciences or faculty from Minority Serving Institutions.

Grants for Emerging Researchers/Clinicians Mentorship

G.E.R.M. was developed to provide grants to medical students to support a longitudinal mentored clinical learning and/or research project for up to a year, on infectious diseases-related topics including HIV under the mentorship of an IDSA or HIVMA member.

New Jersey Innovation Research Fellowship Program

The Innovation and Research Fellowship Program (IRFP) grant funds are provided to support technological research and the innovation ecosystem in New Jersey and to encourage Ph.D. candidates/graduates to continue their research in fellowship with New Jersey’s science and technology companies. 

Pilot Program for Cancer Research Addressing NJ Department of Health Priority Areas

The NJCCR invites proposals to support pilot cancer research projects that address current priority areas related to women’s health, pain management, and more.

Fulbright-Fogarty Publich Health Fellowship Award

The Fulbright-Fogarty Awards are offered through a partnership (Fulbright Program and the Fogarty International Center of the U.S. National Institutes of Health) to promote the expansion of research in public health and clinical research in resource-limited settings.

Eating Disorders Summer Research Fellowship

Since 1997, the summer research fellowship program at the Eating Disorder Clinical and Research Program (EDCRP) has been designed to stimulate interest in eating disorders research and train young investigators in the field.
