Mary McEwen Schimke Scholarship

A supplemental award to provide relief from household and child care expenses while pursuing graduate study. The award is made on the basis of scholarly expectation and identified need. The candidate must be over 30 years of age, currently engaged in graduate study in literature and/or history. Preference given to American studies.

Student Support Scholarship

PLT Student Support Scholarships are awarded to assist students with tuition and books and are available to both part-time and full-time students dedicated to pursuing careers in education. The award amount is determined annually, and currently is $2,000.

Scholarships

Scholarship: For undergraduate and graduate students to encourage independent study and research that will improve the general welfare of mankind. Primary considerations for scholarship are character, ability and financial need. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to service.

John W. Hartman Center for Sales, Advertising and Marketing History J. Walter Thompson Research fellowships

The JWT Research Fellowships provide $1000 in funds for up to three individuals planning research trips for a minimum of two weeks primarily to use the J. Walter Thompson Archives.

Minority Fellowship Program

$18,000 fellowship attracts talented doctoral students of ethnically diverse backgrounds to develop leadership roles and research skills in sociology. Applicants must be enrolled (and have completed one full academic year) in a sociology Ph.D. program at application.

Franklin Mosher Baldwin Memorial Fellowships

Franklin Mosher Baldwin Memorial Fellowships are intended for scholars and students with citizenship in a developing country who wish to obtain an advanced degree from an institution outside the student’s home country. Richard M. Weaver Fellowship

The ISI Richard M. Weaver Fellowship awards a number of fellowships ranging from $5,000 to $15,000 to students interested in teaching at the college level.

Henry Salvatori Fellowship
