William L. Clements Library-Earhart Foundation Fellowships on Civil War America

The Earhart Foundation Fellowships provide funding for scholarly research on American history between 1830 and 1877, with preference given to projects on Civil War topics. Earhart Civil War Fellowships offer a monthly stipend of $4,000 for one to five months’ residence at the Clements. These are post-doctoral fellowships requiring a Ph.D. or equivalent qualifications. Applications must be received by November 1 for residence in the following calendar year.
