Weimar Awards

The Klassik Stiftung Weimar awards grants to promote scientific projects focusing on European cultural history from early modern times to the present day and making use of the collections available in Weimar.

The international Weimar Awards provide support for graduates, post-doctoral researchers and habilitated scientists who wish to use the Weimar collections for their research work. Award holders can work in all institutions maintained by the Klassik Stiftung Weimar, with preference given to the Goethe and Schiller Archive, the Duchess Anna Amalia Library and the museums. Award holders are invited to participate in all scientific and cultural events organised by the Klassik Stiftung. Scientific colloquia are held on a regular basis to guarantee an interdisciplinary exchange of thoughts between award holders during their stay in Weimar.
