Includes opportunities to participate in ongoing research, development, testing, and evaluation projects at AFRL HE laboratories and through collaborations at various universities. Appointments may include graduate students; postgraduate (post BS; post MS); Postdoctoral; and faculty positions. Scientific staff of the AFRL-HE identify and adopt developing technologies that will help the Air Force meet future operational needs by pursuing scientific research and technological developments. Appointment periods vary based on sponsor need – can be 8 – 10 weeks, semester length, up to 12 months with possibility of renewal.
