Theater Grants

Three different kinds of theater grants are available from the Princess Grace Foundation, for student actors, directors, costume, set, sound, and lighting designers. Scholarships provide tuition assistance for the last year of professional training at a non-profit school located in the United States. Apprenticeships provide salary assistance for individuals who are learning the trade under the mentorship of a skilled staff person at a non-profit theater company. Fellowships provide salary assistance for professions who will have significant relationships with a non-profit theater company. Applications are a collaborative effort submitted by a school or a non-profit company in conjunction with the nominated artist.
