The purpose of the NJ summer cancer research fellowship is to provide an opportunity to gain hands on laboratory experience for promising students who are interested in pursuing a career as a cancer researcher. The program is designed to encourage students who have not had extensive research experience especially undergraduates, medical students or graduate students who have not worked on cancer projects prior to applying. Students must work full time for no less than 10 weeks during the summer months. ELIGIBILITY: Students must be enrolled as full time students pursuing a B.S., M.S., Ph.D., M.D., D.D.S. or equivalent degree and interested in a career as a cancer researcher. Candidates who have not had previous research experience are given priority for this program.
