Student Presentation Awards: Alexander Wilson Prize & Lynds Jones Prize

The Wilson Ornithological Society presents the Alexander Wilson Prize for the best student paper presented at the meeting and the Lynds Jones Prize for the best student poster. The paper or poster is judged on its contribution to ornithological knowledge, originality of the research, and effectiveness of the presentation. The student must be the first author and presenter of the work. To be considered for either award, be certain to indicate on the abstract submitted that you are eligible for the prize by putting an asterisk before the title. All students competing for a prize are guests of the Wilson Ornithological Society at the annual banquet. Simply indicate “Student Award” on the “Annual Banquet and Jazz Band” price line on the registration form.
