Smith Fellowships

Research fellowships to support applicants doing major research projects in NJ history, including doctoral dissertations and monographs. Fellowship awards are based on demonstrated expertise and the excellence of the project description. Established scholars should show a record of publication in the field. Graduate students must include a letter of recommendation from their dissertations director.
