Triennial awards of $1,500 (second place) and $2,000 (first place) will be awarded to members of Sigma Alpha Iota for women pursuing graduate study in the field of performance. Eight finalists may be chosen from taped auditions in Voice; Keyboard & Percussion; Strings; Winds and Brass. The final competition is held at the National Convention.
