Ruth Hathaway Jewson Award

This award is given to fund the best dissertation proposal submitted by a doctoral candidate in the field of family studies as broadly defined. The award is in honor of Ruth Hathaway Jewson, NCFR’s second Executive Director. The award winner receives a $900 cash award and a plaque, which will be presented at the beginning of a plenary session at the NCFR Annual Conference. Award is presented biannually (even years).
