Rose and Sigmund Strochlitz Travel Grants

The Archives & Special Collections of the University of Connecticut Libraries, housed in the Thomas J. Dodd Research Center, support the research of scholars throughout the United States and from abroad. Sigmund Strochlitz Travel Grants are intended to encourage use of these unique collections and to provide partial support to outstanding scholars who must travel long distances to consult them. Grants are awarded twice each year, on a competitive basis, to promising graduate students and to established scholars who plan to conduct research at the Dodd Center. Awards up to $500 are made to graduate students and post-doctoral students; established scholars are eligible for awards of up to $1000. Approximately $3,000 in grants are available each year.
