Richard E. Merwin Student Scholarship

This scholarship was created in honor of the late Richard E. Merwin, past president of the society, to recognize and reward active leaders in the IEEE Computer Society student branch chapters who show promise in their academic and professional efforts. The selected winners of this award will have the opportunity to serve as IEEE CS Student Ambassadors for the particular IEEE region to which they belong. Duties as Student Ambassadors will include collecting and disseminating information to all IEEE CS student chapters in your region and serving as a liason between the CAB Student Activities Vice-Chair and the IEEE CS student members in your region.
