Research Grants in Portuguese subject matters at the Instituto dos Arquivos Nacionais-Torre do Tombo

The Torre do Tombo and FLAD introduced a research assistance program in 1998 whose goal is the promotion of knowledge of Portuguese History and Culture in the US as well as to promote scientific and cultural cooperation between Portugal and the United States. Applications are open to researchers from the US seeking to develop research projects in the fields of History, Social Science and Portuguese Language and Culture, based in Torre do Tombo¿s material and collections.
