Research Grants for North African Scholars

Open to Maghribi citizens who are conducting research for a doctoral dissertation or are post-doctoral or senior scholars. The CEMAT/TALM Research Fellowships for Maghribi Scholars are open to citizens of Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, and Tunisia. Grants are to be used for research in either Morocco or Tunisia and are open to scholars of buisness, humanities, and the social sicnes. Grantees must conduct their research in a country other than their own and explain why travel to another Maghribi country is necessary for their research. Duration: 20 to 45 days (typically).
