Rear Admiral John D. Hayes Predoctoral Fellowship in U.S. Naval History

Applicants must be enrolled in a recognized graduate school; have completed requirements for the Ph.D. except the dissertation by June 30 of the application year; and have an approved dissertation topic in the field of U. S. naval history. Topics in all periods of United States naval history will be considered, as well as all aspects, including operations, biography, technology and science, strategy and tactics, administration, social, diplomacy, etc.
