Postgraduate Fellowship in Commonwealth Studies

to postgraduate students working for a higher degree in Commonwealth studies in the fields of history, economic history, politics, international relations, anthropology, sociology, or literature.

Fellows will remain attached to their own institution but are expected to be in attendance at the institute and to devote their full time to the study of the subject of their research. The fellow is permitted to use the institute’s facilities and in addition is offered a desk in the research students’ room. The fellow will be expected to complete the doctoral degree during the period of the award and will also be required to participate in the activities of the ICS, by attending appropriate seminars and by giving informal help to fellow scholars working in the same field
