Postdoctoral Research in Microwave Remote Sensing of Snow and Ice

Research related to microwave remote sensing and radiative transfer modeling of snow, ice and frozen soil. The microwave transfer modeling will include both scattering and emission in heterogeneous media in the 1-90 GHz frequency range, and will depend strongly on observational data to be collected during the NASA Cold Land Processes Experiment (CLPX). Both positions are for up to 3 years. Salary is commensurate with experience.
