Postdoctoral Research Fellowship – Internal Fellowships

The ESA offers internal fellowships for candidates with research backgrounds related to ongoing research activities assigned to one of the Agency’s establishments, ESTEC, ESOC, etc. Applicants must hold a PhD or equivalent degree/training and must be working in fields related to space science or applications, spacecraft techniques, or fields linked to space activities.

ESA fellowships are open to nationals of its Member States and Cooperating States: Member States include Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Canada is a Cooperating State and Hungary, Romania, Poland, Estonia and Slovenia are European Cooperating States (ECS).

There is no specific closing date and applications may be submitted at any time during the year. Please note that we can not consider incomplete applications.
