Postdoctoral Research Fellowship – External Fellowships

The ESA offers external fellowships for candidates who choose to develop a research project relevant to the Agency’s activities at the host institute of their choice, in a country other than their own. Applicants must hold a PhD or equivalent degree/training and must be working in fields related to space science or applications, spacecraft techniques, or fields linked to space activities. Fellowships are open to nationals of the following EU countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Portugal, and the United Kingdom, Applicants from Canada will be considered.

There is no specific closing date and applications may be submitted at any time during the year. Please note that we can not consider incomplete applications.
