Postdoctoral Research Associates Program

JILA is devoted to research and applications in the following fields: laser technology, optoelectronics, precision measurement, surface science and semiconductors, information and image processing, materials and process science, as well as basic research in atomic, molecular, and optical physics, precision measurement, gravitational physics, chemical physics, astrophysics, and geographical measurements. Postdoctoral appointments are usually awarded in support of existing ongoing research projects, but consideration of suggestions for original research is not precluded.
