Postdoctoral Position in Molecular Biology

A molecular biologist position is available at the FDA in a collaborative research program between the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CEBR) and the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (CFSAN). The goal of the project is to develop a DNA microarray for analysis of microbial pathogens.

The scientist will be part of a team dedicated to the application of DNA microarray technology to the study of microbial pathogens, including identification of pathogens and their virulence factors.

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in the biological or biomedical sciences with experience in molecular biology. Experience with DNA arrays and microbial pathogens is desirable but not necessary. Contact funder for detailed eligibility information.
