The Center for Water Sciences Post-doctoral Fellowship will foster new and innovative research collaborations among faculty at MSU and provide a unique professional and educational experience for post-doctoral researchers in fields related to water resources. The program matches outstanding post-docs with ?Hosts,? who are CWS faculty members, for a two-year paid fellowship. The post-doctoral Fellows will interact with one another and with CWS faculty on projects focusing on new tools and techniques, from molecular to landscape scales, to address aquatic ecosystems, human health, and the linkages between humans and ecosystems. This interdisciplinary program is designed for Fellows to work with CWS faculty to initiate innovative research projects that address the priority research areas of CWS. While research in each of these priority research areas may be supported with targeted projects, we are particularly interested in efforts linking ecological and human health. In addition, international programs will also be supported that investigate priority research areas, cultural diversity, and the coupling of human and ecological systems.
