Old Salem Museum-NSCDA-NC internship

This internship offered by Old Salem Museums & Gardens is underwritten by the National Society of Colonial Dames of America in North Carolina. The internship is directed at graduate students in museum studies, American history, historic preservation, historic architecture and archaeology. Activities will focus on aspects in the Old Salem National Historic Landmark District in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where the Colonial Dames owns the oldest surviving building, the 1768 Fourth House.

The Intern will work approximately 37.5 hours per week, 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday, except for institutional holidays. The internship will last 10 weeks with flexibility beginning in May and ending in June. The internship is a full-time staff position for 10 weeks at Old Salem Museums & Gardens. The intern will be selected by Old Salem staff on a competitive basis.

Priority will be given to graduate students who are enrolled in North Carolina colleges and universities.
