New York City Urban Fellows

To introduce graduates interested in pursuing a career in government or public service to New York City local government. Field of Study: Public/Community Service. Includes: Health insurance, stipend. The Urban Fellows Program has earned a reputation for being deeply committed to the highest standards of excellence in public service. This prestigious nine-month program combines full-time employment in City government with a comprehensive seminar series exploring the mechanics of local government, as well as important issues facing the City. All students who are interested in pursuing a career in government and public service are encouraged to apply regardless of academic major or previous field of training. To be eligible for consideration as a candidate, individuals must meet the following requirements: Applicants must be recent college graduates, no more than two years out of college.
