NCAR Graduate Fellowships

The NCAR Advanced Study Program offers a small number of graduate fellowships that support university Ph.D thesis research. These fellowships only support research projects that are collaboratively guided by a university faculty member and an NCAR scientist.

The research project at NCAR must be supervised jointly by a university faculty member and an NCAR scientist who agree to collaborate in this endeavor. A substantial part (perhaps >50%) of the research should be conducted while the graduate student is at NCAR. For this to be possible, course work and the comprehensive exam (or equivalent) at the home university must be completed before the start of the fellowship.

**There is no application deadline. Four awards are available, and applications will be considered (beginning July) until these four awards are made. **
