NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship Program

The scholarships are awarded to student-athletes who excel academically and athletically and who are in their final year of intercollegiate athletics competition. Nominees must have a minimum grade-point average of 3.2 (based on a 4.0 scale), be nominated by the faculty athletics representative or designee, and intend to continue academic work beyond the baccalaureate degree as a part-time or full-time graduate student.

Applications are commonly due for fall sports (including cross country, football, soccer, women’s volleyball, etc.) in January, for winter sports (including basketball, gymnastics, ice hockey, indoor track and field, swimming, wrestling, etc.) in March, and for spring sports (including baseball, golf, softball, tennis, outdoor track and field) in May.
