National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Educational Partnership Program with Minority Serving Institutions Graduate Sciences Program

aimed at increasing opportunities and available programs for students in NOAA related professions to pursue research and educational training in atmospheric, environmental, and oceanic sciences at Minority Serving Institutions when possible. Successful candidates are offered entry-level employment while continuing to study at an accredited graduate university and conducting current NOAA related research activities. This program provides two years of financial assistance for tuition, books, fees, housing allotment, and 16 weeks of salary to each candidate. On successful completion of the academic training, successful candidates will begin an exciting career at an assigned NOAA research facility. positions are available nationwide in the following sections of NOAA: National Environmental, Satellite, Data and Information Service; National Weather Service; National Ocean Service; National Marine Fisheries Services; and Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Research
