Minority Graduate Fellowships

Willamette University is pleased to invite applications for the Willamette University Minority Graduate Fellowship. This residential Fellowship provides an excellent opportunity for a minority scholar to complete his or her dissertation while teaching part-time either individually. The Fellowship supports a minority scholar for a year-long residency at Willamette University. Qualified individuals must be U.S. citizens and have completed all other Ph.D. requirements. The selected Fellow will have access to the university’s talented faculty as well as extensive library and computing facilities. The Ph.D. of the Fellow may be in any discipline offered in Willamette?s undergraduate liberal arts curriculum.

The Willamette University Minority Graduate Fellowship provides a stipend of $25,000, office space, library and computer privileges, and a $2,500 research assistance fund. The Fellowship extends from roughly September 1st through August 31st during which time the Fellow is expected to complete the dissertation. The Fellowship may also include an opportunity for classroom teaching, either individually or as part of a team. **Contact funder for application deadline**
