Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellows Dissertation Grants

Applicants must be former Mellon Minority Undergraduate Fellows (MMUF) and candidates for the Ph.D. degree in fields recognized under the terms of the Mellon Minority Undergraduate Fellowship Program. Completion of all pre-dissertation requirements means that the applicant has passed all comprehensive examinations, has completed all course work for the degree, has received approval of the dissertation topic, and has completed most or all of the necessary fieldswork and/or research before writing.
