Library of Congress Fellowships in International Studies

These fellowships will provide postdoctoral scholars in the humanities and social sciences with support for 4-9 months of residence in Washington to use the foreign language collections of the Library of Congress. The program is designed for postdoctoral scholars who are at an early stage of their career, within seven years of their degree. Research projects in the history, language, culture, politics, economics, and other disciplines of the humanities and social sciences that further understanding of the global partners of the United States will be welcome, as will multi-disciplinary and cross-disciplinary proposals, and proposals focused on single or multiple geographical areas. ***Contact funder for application deadlines.***Also, visit http://www.acls.org/ for further information.***
