Kislak Fellowship in American Studies

The Kluge Center at the Library of Congress offers a post-doctoral fellowship for research based on the Kislak Collection, which contains some of the earliest records of indigenous peoples in North America. The program supports research that contributes to a greater understanding of cultures and history of the Americas, and provides for up to 8 months of research through full-time residency at the Library. Eligible disciplines include archaelogy, history, cartography, epigraphy, linguistics, ethno-history, ethnography, bibliography and sociology, with an emphasis on Florida, the circum-Caribbean, and Mesoamerica.
