Investigator Awards in Health Policy Research

The awards are to undertake broad studies of America’s most challenging policy issues in health and health care. Applications are welcomed from investigators in the health, social and behavioral sciences, as well as other fields. Applications must be submitted by an educational institution or nonprofit organization that is tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, located in the United States or its territories, with which the proposed investigator is affiliated.

The program seeks a diverse group of applicants including minorities, researchers early in their careers, and individuals in nonacademic settings. Past awardees and teams of more than two researchers are not eligible to apply. This program accepts paper applications only. ***First, a letter of intent must be submitted; Upon acceptance of the letter, full proposals are submitted.***
