Hayek Fund for Scholars Career Development Grants

The Hayek Fund for Scholars provides awards of up to $750 to graduate students and untenured faculty members for career-advancing activities. The award is open to graduate students who intend to pursue academic careers and untenured faculty members whose academic work contributes to the understanding of the principles, practices, and institutions necessary to a free society or to the understanding of the classical liberal or libertarian tradition.

Eligible career-advancing activities include, but are not limited to:

* Presentations at academic or professional conferences
* Travel to academic job interviews on a campus or at professional/academic conferences
* Travel to archives or libraries for research
* Participation in career-development or enhancing seminars
* Distribution of a published article to colleagues in your field
* Submission of unpublished manuscripts to journals or book publishers
