The aim of this program is to foster an interest among young researchers in lupus erythematosus. Research is conducted under the supervision of an established investigator. The student is responsible for locating a supervisor and lab. Projects may be basic, clinical, or psychosocial research, and must be related to the causes, treatments, prevention, or cure of lupus
