The post-doctoral training involves: (1) regular faculty mentorship for planning and developing his/her own publications and research, plus submitting winning grant proposals, primarily to NIH and secondarily to private funders; (2) collaborating with Brown School faculty on NIH funded projects and the development of new proposals to NIH; (3) contributing to the scientific infrastructure and knowledge based resources of the school for mental health services research.
ELIGIBILITY:
The Center for Mental Health Services Research accepts nominations and applications for the position of Research Associate in mental health services research. Candidates should have the following: a Ph.D.; research experience in mental health services; evidence of a commitment to mental health research; scholarly publications in an area of expertise; and skill in preparing research proposals for external funding.
