Carol Bates Fellowship

Graduate students in art history who are interested in pursuing a museum career in the United States. Applicants should have completed the M.A. degree and be enrolled in a Ph.D. program at the time of application. The fellow will work in the curatorial division on research projects related to the permanent collection and special exhibitions (3/5 time). The rest of the fellow’s time (2/5) may be devoted to dissertation research. Specific projects will be developed in collaboration with the relevant curator. The fellow also will be expected to present talks for the museum’s education division. **The Gallery also supports a postdoctoral award**
