Australian-American Health Policy Fellowships Program

The Australian-American Health Policy Fellowships Program, formerly known as Packer Policy Fellowships, offer a unique opportunity for outstanding, mid-career U.S. health policy researchers and practitioners to spend up to 10 months in Australia conducting original research and working with leading Australian health policy experts on issues relevant to both countries. Fellowships are not awarded to support basic research or study for an academic degree.

Australian-American Health Policy Fellows are open to accomplished, mid-career health policy researchers and practitioners, including, academics, clinicians, decision makers in managed care and other private sector health care organizations, federal and state health officials, and journalists.Fellowships provide a stipend for terms of six to ten months, with a minimum stay of six months in Australia required.
