ASECS/Folger Institute Fellowship

This $2,000 award, funded jointly by the Folger Institute and the American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies, is given annually to an ABD graduate student or a postdoctoral scholar conducting research in the period 1660 to 1815. ASECS/Folger Institute Fellowship recipients must be members in good standing of ASECS. Applications are reviewed at the September deadline as announced in the Institute’s annual brochure. Preference is given to those candidates who are applying for a Folger Institute seminar, but the fellowship may also support independent research at the Folger Shakespeare Library.
