Andrew W. Mellon Postdoctoral Curatorial Fellowship

Two postdoctoral fellowships designed for individuals who have received their doctoral degrees in art history or archaeology within the past five years, provide curatorial training and opportunities for scholarly research at the Metropolitan Museum. They are two-year positions, with the possibility of renewal for a third year. Fellows receive research and travel expenses up to a maximum of $6,000 and fringe benefits. Individuals will work directly with one or more senior curators. Each fellow will also have the opportunity to undertake an independent project in consultation with his or her supervising curator.
