Fall 2024 Workshops and Webinars

Join the GradFund Fellowship Advising Team for our fall 2024 workshop and webinar series on Zoom. 

These sessions are designed to help graduate students get started with their fellowship and grant application and will complement the support we offer through our Self-Paced Guide to Fellowships and Grants on Canvasand our Individual Advising Appointments. 

Find the full schedule of webinars and workshops listed below. Unless otherwise noted, all sessions will take place on Zoom. 

Advance registration is required for each session and the link to register is included in the session information.  After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.  Please register with your Rutgers email address (netid@rutgers.edu)

Introduction to GradFund and Applying for Grants and Fellowships

This webinar will provide a general overview of the graduate funding landscape and how graduate students can begin the process of applying for funding. GradFund Planning Workshop: Learn how to navigate and plan out your grant and fellowship application process

The GradFund Planning Workshop will guide you on identifying merit-based grants and fellowships as a graduate student and building a plan for writing your applications. Advanced registration is required and can be completed through this link.  

GradFund Workshop: Funding Archival Research

September 20, 2024 at 1:00 pm

Join GradFund’s fellowship advising team in this workshop to learn best practices for applying to external fellowships and grants to support archival research. Graduate students conducting or planning to conduct archival research in all disciplines are welcome to join this GradFund workshop as we explore topics such as identifying sources of archival research funding, creating a research plan, and strategies for writing a competitive grant or fellowships application to support archival research.  Advanced registration is required and can be completed through this link.
