Program Description
We are pleased to invite registration for the GradFund Mentoring Program for the Fulbright US Student Program Mentoring Program.
Through your registration, you will be added to the asynchronous canvas site that has content and material designed to help you learn how to develop a competitive application to the Fulbright US Student Program.
The program is designed to help you develop a competitive application to the Fulbright U.S. Student Program applications during the Fall 2024 application cycle.
Applying for and securing external funding to support your graduate study is an important part of your scholarly professional development. Fellowships such as the awards offered by the Fulbright US Student Program will bring important recognition and resources to your work, give you valuable experience working and researching internationally, and will ultimately help you to complete more robust dissertation research and/or expanded teaching experiences. To write a competitive external funding application, it is critical to get started well in advance of the deadline and to dedicate adequate time to the proposal development process.
The program is open to current Rutgers graduate students (Doctoral or Masters) who are considering applying for an award in the Fulbright US Student Program portfolio in the Fall 2024 application cycle. We welcome applicants interested in any Fulbright country, and any stream (Research/Study awards, English Teaching Assistant, or other). Recordings of the webinars will also be posted for participants of the mentoring program to revisit as needed as they apply.
