The GradFund Summer 2021 Mentoring Program – Virtual will run over a 5-week period (May 20 – June 17) with a special emphasis on dissertation research and writing fellowships and grants. The program consists of one webinar per week. Participants are encouraged to schedule follow up Help with a Funder and Application Review Appointments. Our goal is to prepare you to apply for awards during the Fall 2021 application cycle.
Applying for and securing external funding to support your graduate study and research is an important part of your scholarly professional development. These dissertation level research grants and fellowships are important resources that bring recognition and financial support to your work and will ultimately help you to complete more robust research. To write a competitive external funding application, it is critical to get started well in advance of the deadline and to dedicate an adequate time to the proposal development process.
The deadline to apply to participate in the program is Monday, May 3, 2021. Applications can be submitted through the SGS Submittable site here.
